A short psychological drama adapted from The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
Laps explores how small niggling doubts can grow into large motivating decisions. Set in the iconic Australian pool culture it subverts these nostalgic images to reveal a warped side of perfection. For the protagonist Charlotte, the presentation of perfection has kept her stuck in a toxic relationship but burbling under the surface is a desire to be free.
